Greetings, Class of ’68!
Hopefully you received a “Save That Date” notice for September 27-29, 2018, and hopefully you have “Saved That Date.” We would love to have a 100% turnout which can happen only if YOU attend! Your Fort Scott classmates have been working diligently to come up with an amazing list of activities for your enjoyment and entertainment.
Here are a few:
Thursday, Sept. 27: Show up! Make reservations ahead of time (suggested accommodations on page 2) so you don’t have to sleep under the Marmaton Bridge.
6:00 P.M.-???? Holmtown Pub will be our gathering spot for dinner and/or drinks.
Friday, Sept. 28:
8:30-10:30 A.M.—Registration at the Sleep Inn Hospitality Room. Be prepared to bid on some totally cool raffle items.
11:00 A.M.—Memorial Service and Chicken Annies’ lunch at Adam and Jenn LaRoche’s Activity Building/ Be prepared to tell us a little about yourself.
1:15 P.M.—SMILE! Class photo at the FSHS Liberty Bell ($13 payable to Merl Humphrey

1:30-3:30 P.M.—Expend some of that chicken-energy at our Competitive Scavenger Hunt.
5:30 P.M.—Tour our remodeled high school—You won’t recognize it!--and attend the senior-
sponsored chili feed
6:30 P.M.—Homecoming ceremonies (Does Kay German ring a bell?) and football game at Frary
Field
Following the game—Wind down after a Tiger WIN at Diann (Cook) Tucker’s home. BYOB/
Appetizers provided by classmates who are lucky enough to live in Fort Scott
Saturday, Sept. 29:
8:00 A.M.—Common Ground Coffee Shop for a caffeine pick-me-up
9:00 A.M.—Hit a Homerun! Tour the LaRoche Baseball Complex
10:00 A.M.—Brunch at Paulette (Newton) Albright’s
12:30 P.M.—Meet at high school for a bus tour of Bourbon County
6:00-7:00 P.M.—Cash bar mixer at Liberty Theatre
7:00 P.M.—Dinner at Liberty/ choice of chicken, lasagna or beef tips
